James Ross-Gowan 4629fe577f vo_gpu: d3d11_helpers: don't create UNORDERED_ACCESS backbuffers in Win7
We're getting bug reports that the recent change to add extra usage
flags to swapchain buffers (for gpu-next) breaks mpv on some Windows 7
systems, and it seems like this is only happening with flip-model
swapchains.

Creating swapchains with DXGI_USAGE_UNORDERED_ACCESS should be valid. At
least, it's not specifically disallowed, unlike some other flags[1]. So,
just disable it for flip-model swapchains in Windows 7, rather than
disabling it everywhere.

James Ross-Gowan 3c4b8433dc vo_gpu/d3d11: add more usage flags to the swapchain images
vo_gpu_next and libplacebo expect swapchain images to be able to be
blitted to, which for libplacebo on FL11_0 and up means they have to
have DXGI_USAGE_UNORDERED_ACCESS, since libplacebo uses a compute shader
to emulate certain kinds of blits. For libplacebo's benefit, set all
applicable usage flags on swapchain images.

James Ross-Gowan bb231889fd win32: request the UTF-8 code page for Windows APIs
This sets the activeCodePage property in the manifest, which forces the
ANSI code page to be UTF-8 in Windows 10 1903 and up. It shouldn't make
a difference for mpv itself, since mpv already uses the wide-char APIs
for most functions, however some of mpv's dependencies, such as Lua,
rely on the ANSI codepage. Hence this change enables support for Unicode
file names in Lua's I/O library.

Thanks @avih for finding this property.

James Ross-Gowan 83fec9bafb subprocess-win: update to mp_subprocess2
This fixes the "run" and "subprocess" commands on Windows, including
youtube-dl support.

Unix-like FD inheritance is emulated on Windows by using an undocumented
data structure[1] that gets passed to the newly created process in
STARTUPINFO.lpReserved2. It consists of two sparse arrays listing the
HANDLE and internal CRT flags corresponding to each FD. This structure
is used and understood primarily by MSVCRT, but there are other runtimes
and frameworks that can write it, like libuv.

The code for creating asynchronous "anonymous" pipes in Windows has been
enhanced and moved into windows_utils.c. This is mainly an artifact of
an unfinished future change to support anonymous IPC clients in Windows.
Right now, it's still only used in subprocess-win.c

James Ross-Gowan 102a083171 terminal-win: handle 'Change Window Title' OSC sequence
This should make --term-title work in Windows 8.1 and below.

OSC sequences are defined in ECMA-48. The 'Change Window Title' command,
as far as I can tell, is a de-facto standard defined by xterm[1]. In
either case, this code is probably still not standards-compliant.

This also changes mp_write_console_ansi to convert to UTF-16 before
parsing control sequences, because that made it easier to pass the OSC
param to SetConsoleTitleW. I think it's also more correct to do it this
way, even though it doesn't really matter much for our limited terminal
parsing. As a side-effect of this, mp_write_console_ansi no longer
mutates its argument.

James Ross-Gowan 326c55a571 vo_gpu: d3d11: only use presentation feedback with flip model
The current implementation of presentation feedback was designed to be
used with flip model presentation. With the bitblt model,
GetFrameStatistics returns totally different values and it's not clear
if we can use them at all. Previously, this wasn't a problem because
with the bitblt model, GetFrameStatistics only worked in exclusive
fullscreen. Now that mpv supports exclusive fullscreen, we should
explicitly check for a flip model swapchain before using presentation
feedback.

James Ross-Gowan 80423e5b55 w32_common: support minimized and maximized properties
Add support for setting window-minimized and window-maximized in
Windows. The minimized and maximized state can be set independently.
When the window is minimized, the value of window-maximized will
determine whether the window is restored to the maximized state or not.

Changing state is done with ShowWindow(), which has commands that change
the window state and activate it (eg. SW_RESTORE) and commands that
change the window state without activating it (eg. SW_SHOWNOACTIVATE.)
It would be nice if we could use commands that don't activate the
window, so scripts could change the window state in the backrgound
without bringing it to the foreground, but there are some problems with
that. There is no command to maximize a window without activating it, so
SW_MAXIMIZE is used instead. Also, restoring a window from minimize
without activating it seems buggy. On my Windows 10 1909 PC, it always
moves the window to the back of the z-order. SW_RESTORE is used instead
of SW_SHOWNOACTIVATE because of this.

This also changes the way the window is initially shown. Previously, the
window was made visible as a consequence of the SWP_SHOWWINDOW flag in
the first call to SetWindowPos. In order to set the initial minimized or
maximized state of the window, the window is shown with the ShowWindow
function instead, where the ShowWindow command is determined by whether
the window should be initially maximized or minimized.

Even when showing the window normally, we should still call ShowWindow
with the SW_SHOW command instead of using SetWindowPos, since the first
call a process makes to ShowWindow(SW_SHOW) has special behaviour
where it uses the show command in the process' STARTUPINFO instead of
the command passed to the function, which should fix #5724.

Note: While changes to window-minimized while in fullscreen mode should
work as expected, changing window-maximized while in fullscreen does not
work and won't result in the window changing state, even after leaving
fullscreen. For this to work correctly, the fullscreen logic needs to be
changed to apply the new maximized state on leaving fullscreen.

Merged from mpv-repl git repo commit 5ea2bf64f9c239f0326b02. Some
changes were made on top of it:

- Tabs were converted to 4 spaces indentation (plus some manual
  indentation fixes in some places).
- All user-visible mentions of "repl" were renamed to "console".
- The README was converted to a manpage (with heavy changes, some
additions taken from stats.rst; rossy converted the key bindings
  table to RST).
- The method to change the default key binding was changed.
- Change minor detail about "font" default value setting (not a
  functional change).
- Integrate into the player as builtin script, including an option to
  prevent loading it.

James Ross-Gowan 03cb8755e1 vo_gpu: d3d11: don't reset frame stats after pause
I think I was wrong about having to reset the stats when mpv stops
producing frames, eg. when it's paused. As long as the swapchain doesn't
underflow, last_queue_display_time will still be accurate, because the
next frame produced should still be presented one vsync after the
last one in the swapchain.

If the swapchain underflows (which is the common case for when mpv is
paused for more than 150ms,) the next predicted frame time should be in
the past. It should be fine to leave last_queue_display_time unset in
this case, since vo.c will use the current time instead, which is a
decent guess (though it doesn't take vsync phase into account.)

last_sync_refresh_count and last_sync_qpc_time should be kept on
swapchain underflow as well. Assuming the display refresh rate doesn't
change while mpv is paused, they'll only provide a more accurate guess
of the vsync duration when mpv starts playing again. Also,
vsync_duration_qpc never needs to get reset. It will get overwritten
immediately in most cases, and when it doesn't, it's still a better
guess of the vsync duration than nothing.

James Ross-Gowan a9f9601ca8 vo_gpu: d3d11: add support for presentation feedback
This adds vsync reporting to the D3D11 backend using the presentation
feedback provided by DXGI, which is pretty similar to what's provided by
GLX_OML_sync_control in the GLX backend. In DirectX, PresentCount is the
SBC, PresentRefreshCount and SyncRefreshCount are kind of like the MSC
and SyncQPCTime is the UST.

Unlike GLX, the DXGI API makes it possible for PresentCount and
SyncQPCTime to refer to different physical vsyncs, in which case
PresentRefreshCount and SyncRefreshCount will be different. The code
supports this possibility, even though it's not clear whether it can
happen when using flip-model presentation. The docs say for flip-model
apps, PresentRefreshCount is equal to SyncRefreshCount "when the app
presents on every vsync," but on my hardware, they're always equal, even
when mpv misses a vsync. They can definitely be different in exclusive
fullscreen bitblt mode, though, which mpv doesn't support now, but might
support in future.

Another difference to GLX is that, at least on my hardware,
PresentRefreshCount and SyncRefreshCount always refer to the last
physical vsync on which mpv presented a frame, but glxGetSyncValues can
apparently return a MSC and UST from the most recent physical vsync,
even if mpv didn't present a new frame on it. This might result in
different behaviour between the two backends after dropped frames or
brief pauses.

Also note, the docs for the DXGI presentation feedback APIs are pretty
awful, even by Microsoft standards. In particular the docs for
DXGI_FRAME_STATISTICS are misleading (PresentCount really is the number
of times Present() has been called for that frame, not "the running
total count of times that an image was presented to the monitor since
the computer booted.")

For good documentation, try these:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/direct3ddxgi/dxgi-flip-model
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/direct3d9/d3dpresentstats
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/ddi/content/d3dkmthk/ns-d3dkmthk-_d3dkmt_present_stats

(Yeah, the docs for the D3D9Ex and even the kernel-mode version of this
structure are better than the DXGI ones. It seems possible that they're
all rewordings of the same internal Microsoft docs, but whoever wrote
the DXGI one didn't really understand it.)

James Ross-Gowan 80552ab28e vo_gpu: d3d11: fix storage lifetime of compound literals
Somehow I got the idea that compound literals had function-scoped
lifetime. Instead, like all other objects with automatic storage
duration, compound literals are block-scoped, so they become invalid
after exiting the block they were declared in. It seems like a recent
change to GCC actually reuses the memory that the compound literals
used to occupy, which was causing a few bugs.

The pattern of conditionally assigning a pointer to a compound literal
was used in a few places in ra_d3d11 where the Direct3D API expects
either a pointer to an initialised struct or NULL. Change these to
ensure the lifetime of the struct includes the API call.

Should fix #6775.

This enables DXVA2 hardware decoding with ra_d3d11. It should be useful
for Windows 7, where D3D11VA is not available. Images are transfered
from D3D9 to D3D11 using D3D9Ex surface sharing[1].

Following Microsoft's recommendations, it uses a queue of shared
surfaces, similar to Microsoft's ISurfaceQueue. This will hopefully
prevent surface sharing from impacting parallelism and allow multiple
D3D11 frames to be in-flight at once.

James Ross-Gowan 3d8ca93d23 vo_gpu: win: remove exclusive-fullscreen detection hack
This hack was part of a solution to VSync judder in desktop OpenGL on
Windows. Rather than using blocking-SwapBuffers(), mpv could use
DwmFlush() to wait for the image to be presented by the compositor.
Since this would only work while the compositor was running, and the
compositor was silently disabled when OpenGL entered exclusive
fullscreen mode, mpv needed a way to detect exclusive fullscreen mode.

The code that is being removed could detect exclusive fullscreen mode by
checking the state of an undocumented mutex using undocumented native
API functions, but because of how fragile it was, it was always meant to
be removed when a better solution for accurate VSync in OpenGL was
found. Since then, mpv got the dxinterop backend, which uses desktop
OpenGL but has accurate VSync. It also got a native Direct3D 11 backend,
which is a viable alternative to OpenGL on Windows.

For people who are still using desktop OpenGL with WGL, there shouldn't
be much of a difference, since mpv can use other API functions to detect
exclusive fullscreen.

Some shaders take a _long_ time to compile with the Direct3D compiler.
The ANGLE backend had this problem too, to a certain extent. Logging
should help identify which shaders cause long stalls and could also help
with benchmarking ways of reducing compile times.

James Ross-Gowan 9b2dae79b1 vo_gpu: d3d11: add RA caps for ra_d3d11
ra_d3d11 uses the SPIR-V compiler to translate GLSL to SPIR-V, which is
then translated to HLSL. This means it always exposes the same GLSL
version that the SPIR-V compiler supports (4.50 for shaderc/glslang.)

Despite claiming to support GLSL 4.50, some features that are tied to
the GLSL version in OpenGL are not supported by ra_d3d11 when targeting
legacy Direct3D feature levels.

This includes two features that mpv relies on:
- Reading from gl_FragCoord in the fragment shader (requires FL 10_0)
- textureGather from any texture component (requires FL 11_0)

These features have been exposed as new RA caps.

James Ross-Gowan 68eac1a1e7 vo_gpu: d3d11: initial implementation
This is a new RA/vo_gpu backend that uses Direct3D 11. The GLSL
generated by vo_gpu is cross-compiled to HLSL with SPIRV-Cross.

What works:

- All of mpv's internal shaders should work, including compute shaders.

- Some external shaders have been tested and work, including RAVU and
  adaptive-sharpen.

- Non-dumb mode works, even on very old hardware. Most features work at
feature level 9_3 and all features work at feature level 10_0. Some
features also work at feature level 9_1 and 9_2, but without high-bit-
depth FBOs, it's not very useful. (Hardware this old is probably not
fast enough for advanced features anyway.)

Note: This is more compatible than ANGLE, which requires 9_3 to work
at all (GLES 2.0,) and 10_1 for non-dumb-mode (GLES 3.0.)

- Hardware decoding with D3D11VA, including decoding of 10-bit formats
  without truncation to 8-bit.

What doesn't work / can be improved:

- PBO upload and direct rendering does not work yet. Direct rendering
requires persistent-mapped PBOs because the decoder needs to be able
to read data from images that have already been decoded and uploaded.
Unfortunately, it seems like persistent-mapped PBOs are fundamentally
incompatible with D3D11, which requires all resources to use driver-
managed memory and requires memory to be unmapped (and hence pointers
to be invalidated) when a resource is used in a draw or copy
  operation.

However it might be possible to use D3D11's limited multithreading
capabilities to emulate some features of PBOs, like asynchronous
  texture uploading.

- The blit() and clear() operations don't have equivalents in the D3D11
API that handle all cases, so in most cases, they have to be emulated
with a shader. This is currently done inside ra_d3d11, but ideally it
would be done in generic code, so it can take advantage of mpv's
  shader generation utilities.

- SPIRV-Cross is used through a NIH C-compatible wrapper library, since
it does not expose a C interface itself.

The library is available here: https://github.com/rossy/crossc

- The D3D11 context could be made to support more modern DXGI features
in future. For example, it should be possible to add support for
high-bit-depth and HDR output with DXGI 1.5/1.6.

James Ross-Gowan 8020a62953 vo_gpu: export the GLSL format qualifier for ra_format
Backported from @haasn's change to libplacebo, except in the current RA,
there's nothing to indicate an ra_format can be bound as a storage
image, so there's no way to force all of these formats to have a
glsl_format. Instead, the layout qualifier will be removed if
glsl_format is NULL.

This is needed for the upcoming ra_d3d11 backend. In Direct3D 11, while
loading float values from unorm images often works as expected, it's
technically undefined behaviour, and in Windows 10, it will cause the
debug layer to spam the log with error messages. Also, apparently in
GLSL, the format name must match the image's format exactly (but in
Direct3D, it just has to have the same component type.)

James Ross-Gowan 257a2b9646 win32: add more-POSIXy versions of open() and fstat()
Directory-opening never worked on Windows because MSVCRT's open()
doesn't open directories and its fstat() doesn't recognise directory
handles. These are just MSVCRT restrictions, and the Windows API itself
has no problem with opening directories as file objects, so reimplement
mpv's mp_open and mp_stat to use the Windows API directly. This should
fix directory playback.

This also populates the st_dev and st_ino fields of struct stat, so
filesystem loop checking in demux_playlist.c should now work on Windows.

James Ross-Gowan 7897f79217 input: merge mouse wheel and axis keycodes
Mouse wheel bindings have always been a cause of user confusion.
Previously, on Wayland and macOS, precise touchpads would generate AXIS
keycodes and notched mouse wheels would generate mouse button keycodes.
On Windows, both types of device would generate AXIS keycodes and on
X11, both types of device would generate mouse button keycodes. This
made it pretty difficult for users to modify their mouse-wheel bindings,
since it differed between platforms and in some cases, between devices.

To make it more confusing, the keycodes used on Windows were changed in
18a45a42d5 without a deprecation period or adequate communication to
users.

This change aims to make mouse wheel binds less confusing. Both the
mouse button and AXIS keycodes are now deprecated aliases of the new
WHEEL keycodes. This will technically break input configs on Wayland and
macOS that assign different commands to precise and non-precise scroll
events, but this is probably uncommon (if anyone does it at all) and I
think it's a fair tradeoff for finally fixing mouse wheel-related
confusion on other platforms.

James Ross-Gowan 957e9a37db input: use mnemonic names for mouse buttons
mpv's mouse button numbering is based on X11 button numbering, which
allows for an arbitrary number of buttons and includes mouse wheel input
as buttons 3-6. This button numbering was used throughout the codebase
and exposed in input.conf, and it was difficult to remember which
physical button each number actually referred to and which referred to
the scroll wheel.

In practice, PC mice only have between two and five buttons and one or
two scroll wheel axes, which are more or less in the same location and
have more or less the same function. This allows us to use names to
refer to the buttons instead of numbers, which makes input.conf syntax a
lot easier to remember. It also makes the syntax robust to changes in
mpv's underlying numbering. The old MOUSE_BTNx names are still
understood as deprecated aliases of the named buttons.

This changes both the input.conf syntax and the MP_MOUSE_BTNx symbols in
the codebase, since I think both would benefit from using names over
numbers, especially since some platforms don't use X11 button numbering
and handle different mouse buttons in different windowing system events.

This also makes the names shorter, since otherwise they would be pretty
long, and it removes the high-numbered MOUSE_BTNx_DBL names, since they
weren't used.

Names are the same as used in Qt:

James Ross-Gowan 9aa091615e video: increase --monitorpixelaspect range
Some people use very wide display modes such as 3840x240 with their CRT
televisions because it lessens scaling artifacts in video game
emulators. When using a 3840x240 display mode on a 4:3 CRT television,
the pixel aspect ratio is 1:12, so in order to watch a video with mpv on
the same television without changing the display mode, the user should
use --monitorpixelaspect=1:12.

Unfortunately, 1:12 (or 0.083) was out of range for the
--monitorpixelaspect option. There was no good reason for this, so
extend the range of the option to 1:32-32:1 (0.03125-32,) which should
be more than enough to support "super-wide" display modes like these.

This is related to #4483, but it doesn't fix the issue (which was to do
with subtitle rendering.)

support these,) and BGRA swapchains, which might be slightly more
efficient than ARGB, since its the same format used by the compositor.

James Ross-Gowan 037c7a9279 w32_common: handle media keys
This was attempted before in fc9695e63b, but it was reverted in
1b7ce759b1 because it caused conflicts with other software watching
the same keys (See #2041.) It seems like some PCs ship with OEM software
that watches the volume keys without consuming key events and this
causes them to be handled twice, once by mpv and once by the other
software.

In order to prevent conflicts like this, use the WM_APPCOMMAND message
to handle media keys. Returning TRUE from the WM_APPCOMMAND handler
should indicate to the operating system that we consumed the key event
and it should not be propogated to the shell. Also, we now only listen
for keys that are directly related to multimedia playback (eg. the
APPCOMMAND_MEDIA_* keys.) Keys like APPCOMMAND_VOLUME_* are ignored, so
they can be handled by the shell, or by other mixer software.
